University of Nova Gorica (UNG)

The University of Nova Gorica (UNG) is a higher education institution. The status enables the university a flexible organisation and modes of activities, and an easier adjustment to the demands of modern society. The University’s faculties are open educational and teaching units with researchers and experts coming from diverse research departments and external institutions. In the coming years UNG will aim to establish a harmonious link between experts and students from diverse research and professional disciplines.

UNG displays a broad record of EU- and other projects, often in the lead-partner role. A small and independent university, deeply connected with the regional environment, its infrastructure is lean and efficient for the task.

The team at the School of Arts leading this project shows all complementary experience, competence and infrastructure to tackle the challenge of the MAST project. They have so far successfully lead large-scale and award-winning international projects such as ADRIART, HiLoVv, IDEATE etc.
